St. Peter Lutheran Theatre Arts (SPLTA)
Who can be involved?
All St. Peter students in grades 5-8 have the opportunity to audition for the show. If you audition, you are in, but roles will be depended on the results of the auditions. We want all students to recognize that they have a place. In the past, we have welcomed over 50 students into our productions, both on the stage, and behind the scenes.
The Importance of Theatre
The theatre arts offer a universal language, encompassing all forms of communication that enable students to express a variety of viewpoints and ideas through the visual arts, music, dance and drama. Arts education helps students develop the ability to think clearly, critically and creatively.
