As a part of 922 Ministries, St. Peter Lutheran School exists to help EVERY CHILD in its educational program:
EVERY CHILD. Each child is unique, created with special gifts, abilities, and purpose. God does this intentionally and lovingly! We celebrate, recognize, and promote flexibility for every child’s uniqueness in our classrooms and hallways.
THE WHOLE CHILD. Education is a wholistic endeavor because growth is a wholistic endeavor. Children need more than academic growth for life; they need academic, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual growth in order to thrive.
AS HIS CHILD. Every child is God’s child—created by God, redeemed by God, and sustained by God’s grace. Our mission is to help each child “plant Jesus Roots” and grow as his child their whole lives.
As COMETS, we shine the YOU FIRST light of Jesus.
EVERYWHERE we go—in our classrooms or online, on the playground or in our hallways, in the gym or on the stage, at home and in our community.
To EVERYONE we meet—to our classmates and our teachers, our parents and families, our friends and those we struggle to love, our neighbors and those we don’t even know.
INTENTIONALLY and INDEPENDENTLY. We don’t wait to be told to turn on the light. We LOOK for ways to share YOU FIRST light every day.
For the GLORY of GOD. We love because HE FIRST loved us. We know that his way is always the best way for us, and that shining his light helps others see and experience his light, too!
“My favorite thing about school is getting to learn more and more about Jesus EVERY single day and also that I know that Jesus loves me and the whole school.”
St. Peter Lutheran School has a rich history of serving the community and educating students for over 150 years.
St. Peter Lutheran Church is one of our two church campuses and is found on the same property as our school, located just south of the town of Freedom, WI.
Found in the heart of downtown Appleton, we have our second church ministry, The CORE. We moved into our new building in August 2020 and the location has been a blessing as we continue to see amazing growth!
Founded in 1953, Fox Valley Lutheran High School is the chosen destination for many of our graduates. FVL is supported by 43 congregations and 18 schools within a 30-mile radius, including St. Peter Lutheran. St. Peter is a proud supporter of the Foxes, and is sincerely grateful for their continued partnership.
Martin Luther College is our called worker training school located in New Ulm, MN. Students who choose to enter the public ministry typically attend MLC. Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, and Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN are also collegiate institutions affiliated with St. Peter.
The Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod is our national church body affiliation. United in Christian beliefs, the WELS links St. Peter Lutheran School to over 1,200 churches and 700 educational ministries across the United States. In addition to that, the WELS partners with 42 mission fields across the globe.
The best way to see if St. Peter Lutheran is the right choice for you and your family is to see our campus in action. During your visit, you will meet our admissions team, tour our classrooms and facility, and have a chance to ask all your questions.
